Affirming Counseling for QTBIPOC

I offer a non-judgmental, compassionate, encouraging environment to assist you through whatever situations you may be confronting. In session we collaboratively explore tools and strategies that can help you feel better about yourself, have better relationships, and experience more joy.

My approach is eclectic, intersectional, and integrative. I utilize a combination of evidence-based techniques and traditional talk-therapy. My work is rooted in an affirming, open-minded, strength-based framework. I operate from an anti-oppression, anti-racist,  trauma-sensitive/healing centered, harm-reduction, and social justice lens.

My services are offered exclusively via secure telemental health. Each session is 45/50-minutes. I offer a sliding scale honor system of $120-160 based on what you feel comfortable paying. I am In-Network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Oxford, Oscar, and United health insurance. I do not currently accept any Medicaid plans.

About Me

As a social worker, I am passionate about providing support and care to people across the full spectrum of life experiences.

My background in community organizing and my identity as a first-generation queer Afro-Latinx neurodivergent femme have a strong influence on my practice.

In my work, I strive to foster a culture that trusts people's agency and their inherent strength to make the best decisions for themselves. I decided to start working in private practice when trying to find a therapist for myself who was a queer person of color. During this time I realized there weren't many  Black and Latinx therapists who were accessible and affirming.

My services are available in English, Spanish and Spanglish.
