I offer a non-judgmental, compassionate, encouraging environment to assist you through whatever difficulties you may be confronting. Together we will collaboratively explore tools and strategies that will help you feel better about yourself, have better relationships, and experience more joy.

I utilize an eclectic, integrative and intersectional approach, bringing together evidence-based techniques, socio-cultural and geopolitical understanding while guiding you toward deeper insight. My practice is rooted in an affirming, open-minded, strength-based framework. I operate from a trauma-informed, harm-reduction and social justice lens.

My services are offered via telemental health. Each session is 50-minutes long. I offer a sliding scale honor system, based on what you feel comfortable paying. I also accept Aetna, Cigna, BCBS, and Medicare.

In Struggle.

I provide psychotherapy to individuals using a bi-cultural, person-centered, trauma-informed framework. I incorporate Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Supportive Counseling and Strength-Based techniques. Together we will collaboratively explore tools and strategies that will help you find healing, feel better about yourself, and experience more joy.

Relate Better.

I provide counseling and coaching to committed couples. I am trained in the research and evidence-based Gottman Method and through that lens, I am able to assist couples with issues relating to intimacy, communication, hurtful arguments, and infidelity.

As a licensed social worker, I am passionate about providing support and care to people across the full spectrum of life experiences.

My background in activism and organizing and my identity as a queer afro-Latina have a strong influence on my practice.

In my work, I strive to foster a culture that trusts people's agency and their inherent strength to make the best decisions for themselves. I decided to start a private practice when trying to find a therapist for myself who was a queer person of color. During this time I realized there weren't many of us out there. Therapy can also be cost prohibitive which is why I accept some insurances and also offer my sessions on a sliding-scale.

My services are available in English, Spanish and Spanglish.
